OK, a little tricky to use, but OK,

These are overpriced. They contain about .20 cents worth of soft, molded plastic. Surely they could be more reasonably priced. Perhaps they figure if you can afford one of the machines, the individual cartridge price should not be a concern. That having been said, the soft, molded plastic seems to work “OK”. The hinge holding the top flap to the bottom cylinder is VERY flimsy and delicate. There is the tiniest flimsy tabs to open the capsule and I think if used with extreme TLC you MIGHT be able to make these last. I certainly would not classify them as “Permanent”.
Loading them with ground coffee/espresso is difficult in that without the exact compression technique of packing the coffee into the cylinder, you either get a very very weak, barely brown, water or the machine clogs and protests as it cannot push water through the cartridge. Very temperamental. Not sure I’ll continue to use these, I will probably just order the cartridges from the Nespresso company. The metal capsules are much cheaper directly from the company by the way, as opposed to here on Amazon. The new Nespresso prices are per sleeve with each sleeve holding ten capsules. The “Espresso/Lungo” blends are $5.70 per sleeve of 10 and $6.40 per sleeve of 10 for the Origin Espresso blends.
Also, the way you tell if you have a “Pre 2010″ machine or a “Post 2010″ machine is simple and explained in the package insert (although why not in product description I’ll never know).
IF the internal Nespresso machine cylinder which holds your Nespresso capsules has RIDGES use the BLACK Nespresso refillable capsules. IF the internal cylinder in your Nespresso machine which holds the capsules is SMOOTH inside, use the BROWN capsules.

|Nespresso Reusable Capsules,
The capsules are as advertised and they worked well. They are easy to reuse and filter works well in not letting coffee grinds to get into your cup. They are great value if you planning to replace ~$0.65/capsule from Nespresso. However, if you like your coffee strong or want the intensity of Nespresso capsules, you may have to use multiple shots or make sure you use strong espresso grinds.

This is one of the best ! No aftertaste or bitterness. Capriccio is normally my fave but this may have surpassed it! Delicious!!!

|Love it BUT!! Too expensive on Amazon,
So far this is my fav. HOWEVER. if i were to buy direct from Nespresso the 50 capsules would only be $32.50

|Best Short Nespresso,
After trying about 15 different varieties of the short Nespressos, Rosabaya De Columbia is the one I’ve settled on. It’s potent without being bitter and is closest to the traditional espresso you would get in a French or Italian restaurant. For the long one, I prefer Fortissio Lungo.

|Why not get it from Nespresso???,
This is available still from Nespresso’s web site and you get the actual company’s backing on the product. I LOVE AMAZON and my family, especially my boyfriend who does most of our purchasing, we ALWAYS go to Amazon first but for Nespresso refills to get this Dark Chocolate variation just get it from the source itself to ensure freshness.
