Good buy….but not from…,

Amazons seller, this is twice as much as I paid for mine at Bed Bath and Beyond, they sell it for $40 and with a 20 percent off coupon…it was a great deal!! I love this skillet, it’s large and the sides are nice and tall, very easy to clean, temperature control…can’t go wrong!

|The BEST Indoor Grill,

As a condo owner, we cannot have a gas or charcoal grill due to fire laws. So I really missed my grill, so I took a chance and bought this grill. Although there are bigger grills out there, this one simply works GREAT! And the “flavor enhancer” (which to me works like a mini smoker) really is a great feature. Cooks steaks, burgers, pork, etc. ALMOST as good as gas grills. Only slight drawback is that it DOES produce some smoke in the kitchen. But to me, it’s worth it to get a great grill.

|faulty connection makes it unreliable,
We always had problems with the heating control and the connection of the prongs. Before long it stopped working no matter how we manipulated it. When it works, it’s great, but most of the time it’s a frustrating piece of junk because of the poor connectivity.

|Portable indoor grill,
Have had this grill for a few months and really appreciate its’ versatility. No problems with connectivity. Put it right in the dishwasher to clean. Great product!

I have used this grill with great pleasure. It’s large enough to hold enough food for 4 servings, plus the griddle comes in handy for toasting buns and such. I haven’t had it smoke at all. It grills just like outdoors, including the grill marks. And I can have something grilled and on the table fast. No one has to go out on the deck to cook. It’s all done on the countertop. I can’t say enough good things about this grill. Cleanup is easy and fast, two of my favorite words in the kitchen. I did a lot of research and reading reviews before making this purchase. I believe I found the best of the indoor grills out there.

|Works decent – good price,
I returned the Delonghi BG24 to buy this as they are almost identical but this one is a much better price. As a matter of fact, they are so similar they are probably manufactured by the same company.
There are only 2 differences:
* this one includes a skillet area on the grill plate, so smaller grilling area but you have a side part to grill onions or bacon for your burgers… the drip pan, base and lid are exactly the same
* this one states the grill piece is dishwasher safe, though the grill piece on the BG24 is almost the same, they state it is not dishwasher safe – probably is though
It probably uses a lot of electricity, and does not have a true BBQ taste but it works well. I scrub the gril with a teflon safe sponge while on the base with drip pan still in place and then stick it in the diswasher. I don’t even put the drip pan in diswasher b/c it is so easy to clean my hand , especially when coated with water.
This is a pretty big unit – I’d actually prefer something smaller as I live by myself in a small nyc apt.

|Poor quality control,

This skillet arrived with defects in the interior nonstick coating resembling (1) several raised, salt grain sized flecks and (2) a two-inch partial thickness or covered-over full thickness scratch. The uncoated bottom exterior looked as though someone had scrubbed it with a Brillo pad. I honestly do not see how any competent quality control person could have approved this unit for shipment.
